A man injured Saturday in a two-vehicle accident south of Lawrence was listed in fair condition Tuesday at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.

Chad Peterson, 35, Eudora, was driving his pickup truck south on U.S. Highway 59 when the truck left the road and struck another vehicle head-on. Three passengers in the other vehicle, who were injured, were treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

According to a spokesman at KU Hospital, Peterson was in fair condition after originally being transported for serious injuries.
