The final “Eggs and Issues” breakfast of the legislative session will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Alton Ballroom at Pachamama’s, Eighth and New Hampshire streets.
Eight local legislators are scheduled to speak and then take questions from the attendees.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 per person for Chamber of Commerce members, and $20 for nonmembers. Tickets can be purchased online at lawrencechamber.com until noon Friday.
Eight legislators are scheduled to participate: Sens. Marci Francisco, D-Lawrence, and Tom Holland, D-Baldwin City; House Minority Leader Paul Davis, D-Lawrence; and Reps. Barbara Ballard, D-Lawrence, TerriLois Gregory, R-Baldwin City, Tom Sloan, R-Lawrence, Anthony Brown, R-Eudora, and Ann Mah, D-Topeka.
