Some local schools have canceled or rescheduled athletic events due to weather:

• The Lawrence High School track meet at Manhattan has been canceled due to inclement weather in Manhattan. The LHS track team will not be attending the rescheduled meet, as it already has a full meet schedule next week.
• Free State High School has canceled their varsity, junior varsity and C-team softball game.
• Free State High School varsity and junior varsity softball games have been canceled.
• Free State High School tennis dual against Washburn rural postponed until Thursday, April 21, but tennis practice will be in Coach Strawderman’s room at 3:30 p.m.
• South Junior High School and West Junior High School’s track meet at Topeka Seaman has been postponed until Friday, April 22.
