Overland Park ? Kirsten McKay scored three goals and the Lawrence High girls soccer team defeated Shawnee Mission North, 4-2, on Tuesday.

Claire Payne tallied the other goal for the Lions.

“They are starting to find their niche with our system,” LHS coach Joe Nemzer said. “I’m very happy with how they played.”

Lauren Fleming and Natalie Wilkens each picked up assists for the Lions.

LHS (2-2) travels to Olathe North on Thursday.
