Two KU Business School dean candidates expected to visit campus this week

Two more candidates for Kansas University’s School of Business will visit campus this week.

Neeli Bendapudi, a professor of business at Ohio State University, will participate in an open forum today. She received her doctorate from KU and has taught at Ohio State since 1996. She will meet with faculty, staff and students at a public forum from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at 3014 Wescoe Hall.

Another finalist — J. Dennis Cradit, dean of the College of Business and Administration at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale — also is expected to visit campus later this week. Even though Cradit confirmed he’s a finalist, KU officials wouldn’t reveal the time for his forum because they hadn’t made an official announcement.

Bendapudi and Cradit join Ali Malekzadeh, dean of the Williams College of Business at Xavier University, as finalists for the position.
