The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual woodchip sale later this week. The sale, which runs Thursday through Saturday, will be located at 1420 East 11th St., no matter the weather.

The cost for woodchip pickup will be $10 per load, with slightly higher fees charged for larger trucks. The sale times are:

Thursday — 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday — 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
