KU women’s golf team ties for second

? Behind fourth-place finishes from seniors Meghna Bal and Grace Thiry, the Kansas women’s golf team tied for second at the Chip N Club Invitational. The Jayhawks tied with Kansas State at 599, one stroke behind Arkansas State.

Bal and Thiry each finished at four over par with two-round scores of 148. Bal posted rounds of 72 and 76, while Thiry carded rounds of 75 and 73.

The event was shortened to two rounds after weather suspended play midway through round two on Monday.
