Emporia ? The Lawrence High boys cross country team finished second at the Emporia Invitational on Saturday.

Gavin Fischer lead the Lions, finishing sixth in 16:58.49. Nathan Stringer finished 11th and Zach Andregg took 14th.

The LHS girls finished eighth. Michala Ruder took 11th and Grace Morgan 14th.
