KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A Kansas City high school student was killed and four others were injured in an ATV accident in eastern Kansas.

Matt Skeens, 16, died in the accident, which occurred Friday on private property in Linn County, Kan., near the Missouri state line.

The Linn County Sheriffs Office said Skeens, a junior at Pembroke Hill High School, was dead at the scene. Four other students were taken to hospitals.

The Kansas City Star reports that details of the accident were not available, but the sheriff’s office was investigating.
