Kiawah Island, S.C. ? Katy Nugent tied for fourth place individually to lead the Kansas women’s golf team to a fourth-place finish on Tuesday at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate.

The tournament closed KU’s fall season.

Nugent shot rounds of 73, 71 and 72 to finish at 216. As a team, KU shot 296, 296 and 295 for an 887 total. Kennesaw State won with a 875 total.
