A Winchester man was transported by air ambulance to Kansas University Medical Center Saturday evening after a vehicle accident near McLouth. According to Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs, 30-year-old Dennis Hunt was driving southbound in the 12400 block of Wellman Road around 11 p.m. when the accident occurred. Hunt’s vehicle left the roadway and struck multiple trees before coming to a rest in the ditch. Hunt was not wearing a safety restraint.

The Kansas Highway Patrol did not have any information on the man’s condition or the cause of the accident. Dennis Mcculloch, director of public relations for KU Medical Center, could not confirm or deny the patient’s presence.
