Man charged in Haskell residence hall burglary

Douglas County prosecutors Tuesday charged a 20-year-old Lawrence man in connection with a Friday morning burglary at a Haskell Indian Nations University residence hall.

The district attorney’s office filed charges of aggravated burglary, theft and possession of marijuana against Kenneth J. Flanders. Flanders was arrested Monday in connection with a burglary at Roe Cloud Hall. A laptop computer, Xbox video game system and other items, valued at $1,000, were taken. Flanders is accused of entering the room without permission. Three other men were inside. A judge set bond at $5,000 for Flanders.
