Manhattan ? The Lawrence High girls golf team placed 10th at the Class 6A state golf tournament on Monday.

Kathryn Lunte of LHS carded the best individual city score with a 104, good for 47th place. Lawrence’s Attie Pennybaker scored a 108, good for 58th place.

Free State’s highest individual placer was Alyson Butler, who shot a 108 (60th place). The Firebirds did not compete as a team.
