Manhattan ? Lawrence High’s volleyball team lost three matches in a quad on Tuesday at Manhattan.

The Lions lost to Manhattan, 25-19, 25-17, to Topeka Hayden 25-19, 25-17, and to Topeka Washburn Rural, 25-10, 25-17.

Kelsey Broadwell led Lawrence with 15 kills and 15 assists.

Karisa Sanders added 13 kills and four blocks, and Kendyll Severa tallied 16 digs.

On Saturday, the Lions (14-12) travel to a tournament at Emporia.
