Murder charges bring man back to Topeka

? A 26-year-old Ohio man charged in northeast Kansas with first-degree murder has agreed to return to Kansas.

William Holt II, of Sylvania, Ohio, also faces a charge of aggravated burglary. He waived his right to a hearing earlier this week and agreed to be extradited to Kansas.

Holt faces one count of first-degree murder in Topeka’s 10th homicide of the year, the Sept. 18 shooting death of 32-year-old Mitch Vose, of Topeka.

Holt was arrested in Ohio on Sept. 19 and has been held in the Lucas County Jail in Toledo. It’s unclear when he will be returning to Kansas.
