The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of Sept. 27 was held as a “pro-am” game where top-ranked players were paired with lower-ranked players and was directed by Virginia Seaver. Northeast Kansas Unit of the American Contract Bridge League held the qualifying round of the North American Pairs competition. Qualifiers move on to the District competition in Kansas City next month. The two-session qualifying game was held at the Kaw Valley Bridge Center and was directed by Chris Lane.
