On Saturday, you can pamper yourself and feel good about it because it goes to a good cause.

The “Focus on You” benefit raises money for the Willow Domestic Violence Center in Lawrence.

For $25, professionals will get you picture-perfect ready by providing makeup and a hairstyle.

Then, a photographer will capture the moment and provide a free 5-by-7-inch photo. There also will be refreshments and a silent auction.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Building 2 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper St.

Sponsors include Salon 708, Mary Kay, Silpada Designs and Elite Photography.

The goal is to raise $1,500 for the center, which serves Douglas, Jefferson and Franklin counties.
