KU women knock off Memphis, 90-58

Sophomore Carolyn Davis had 15 points, leading six Kansas players in double figures as the KU women defeated Memphis, 90-58, on Saturday at the BTI Classic in Allen Fieldhouse.

Junior forward Aishah Sutherland contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds for her fourth consecutive double-double. Keena Mays (12), Monica Engelman (11), Tania Jackson (11) and Diara Moore (10) also scored in double figures.

The Jayhawks made 32 of 68 field goals (47 percent) and 8 of 14 three-pointers (57 percent).

KU (5-0) will play Fordham at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the final game of the BTI Classic at Allen Fieldhouse.
