The Vinland FCE will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Vinland United Methodist Church, 1724 N. 692 Road, Baldwin City. The lesson, “Oh, The Stories We Can Tell,” will be given by Elizabeth Hemphill. Hostess will be Kathy Davids.

The Douglas County Extension Council Annual Meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in the Dreher Building at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St.

The evening will include a business meeting, dinner, and program. David Carter, Kansas State University Extension Energy Service Specialist will speaker on “Energy Efficiency In and Around Your Home.” In addition, Extension council members will be recognized, the Extension Appreciation Award will be presented, and the 2011 Douglas County Extension Council Executive Board will be installed.
