Kansas University administrator gets new post at University of North Dakota

A Kansas University associate vice provost for student success will leave KU to take a new position at the University of North Dakota.

Lori Reesor has been named UND’s next vice president for student affairs. She will begin in the new position on Feb. 28.

Reesor has worked in KU’s student success office since 2006. She oversees the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Student Involvement and Leadership Center, University Advising Center, and the University Career Center.

She will replace Robert Boyd at North Dakota. Boyd will focus full time on transitioning the university away from its Fighting Sioux logo and nickname.
