A bomb threat was called into Engineered Air, 32050 West 83rd Street, about noon Thursday, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department.

Lexington Avenue at 83rd Street in De Soto is closed and the building has been evacuated.

The sheriff’s department reported that a K9 unit searched both buildings on the grounds of Engineered Air and did not find evidence of a bomb.
