Students will team up to participate in Wakarusa Valley School’s first-ever Science Olympiad Fun Night, set for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Teams of four students will work through a variety of events, including Grossology, Color Splash, Pasta Bridge and Mystery Architecture.

More than two dozen teams are scheduled to participate.

Science Olympiad is an international program designed to enhance science education in grades K-12. Wakarusa Valley organizers are counting on the competition to help turn hands-on exploration into lifelong learning.
