Gov. Mark Parkinson announced Friday that Amy Jordan Wooden will become his new communications director and press secretary.

She replaces Seth Bundy, who accepted a position as communications director for the gubernatorial campaign of state Sen. Tom Holland, D-Baldwin City.

Jordan Wooden has worked for a number of elected officials, and recently served as the associate vice chancellor of external affairs at the Kansas University Medical Center.
