San Diego ? Junior Nate Barbee, representing the Kansas University men’s golf team as an individual, capped off his first NCAA Tournament appearance on Saturday by firing a 71 in the final round to move up the leaderboard 22 spots and finish the event tied for 39th at Carlton Oaks Golf Club.

Barbee’s third round was his best of the event and the Dakota Dunes, S.D., native finished the three-round event with 226 strokes.
