University Bridge Club announces results of its May 1 meeting, with hosts George and Ailene Bocquin and Roz and Karen Zimmerer.

Blue winners were John Stark, first; George Bocquin, second; Richard Quinn, third; Bebe Huxtable, fourth; and Marc Kuepker, fifth.

Pink winners were Bonnie Haney, first; Ailene Bocquin, second; Lois Liebert, third; Jane Golden, fourth; and Willi Stark, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on April 28 was directed by Chris Lane. North-South winners were John Oxley and Elizabeth Jankord, first in A; Judy Hildreth and Katha Hurt, second in A; Klee Zaricky and Lois Clark, third in A and first in B; Polly Schoning and Dianne Childs, fourth in A; Mary Treece and Barbara McCorkle, second in B and first in C; and Jan O’Connor and Virginia Johnston, second in C.

East-West winners were David Piro and Paul Heitzman, first in A; Eldon Herd and Shari Krentzel, second in A and first in B; Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks, third in A; Marilyn Martin and Jack Flickinger, fourth in A, second in B, and first in C; and Dick Shaffer and Angie Davidson, second in C.

The Thursday Morning Mentor Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of April 29 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver. Winners were Jan O’Connor and Becky Mullins, first; Patricia Lechtenberg and Barbara McCorkle tied for second with Virginia Seaver and Nancy O’Brien; and Jean Khatib and Yvonne Hedges tied for fourth with Angie Davidson and Doris Sindt.

The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of April 30 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Virginia Seaver and Paul Heitzman, first in A; Steven Vossler and Larry Weatherholt, second in A; Vince Nordberg and Jim Stewart third in A, and first in B and C; and Janice Hollowell and Jolene Andersen, fourth in A and second in B.

East-West winners were Klee Zaricky and Sally Taylor, first in A and B; Dick Shaffer and Jack Flickinger, second in A and B, and first in C; Bob Hemenway and James Gunn, third in A and B, and second in C; Jan O’Connor and Yvonne Hedges, fourth in A and B; and Mona Bell and Carol Ball, third in C.
