Someone needs blood every two seconds.

To meet the needs of area hospitals, the Community Blood Center needs to collect 580 units every day.

You can help by participating in a blood drive from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. todayat Lawrence Memorial Hospital, 325 Maine.
