University Bridge Club announces results of its Feb. 27 meeting, with hosts Dan and Carolyn Harden.

Blue winners were George Bocquin, first; John Stark, second; John Golden, third; Harold Riehm, fourth; and Bebe Huxtable, fifth.

Pink winners were Edna Galle, first; Carol Smith, second; Alice Akin, third; Joan VanNice, fourth; and Willi Stark, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of Feb. 24 was directed by Chris Lane. North-South winners were Larry Weatherholt and Peter Petillo, first in A; Steven Vossler and Vince Nordberg, second in A; Chris Lane and Carol Ball, third in A and first in B; Mary Fenlon and Lester Dalton, fourth in A; Marilyn Martin and Jack Flickinger, second in B and first in C; Charles Hedges and Mona Bell, third in B; and Mary Treece and Virginia Johnston, second in C.

East-West winners were Lois Clark and Jan O’Connor, first in A, B and C; Virginia Seaver and Shirley Reese, second in A; Eldon Herd and Shari Krentzel, third in A and second in B; Klee Zaricky and John Oxley, fourth in A; Grant Sutton and Mark Osborn third in B; and Patricia Lechtenberg and Jean Khatib, second in C.

The Thursday Morning Mentor Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of Feb. 25 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Chris Lane. Winners were Doris Sindt and Jean Khatib, first; Earle Core and Debbie Bettinger, second; Chris Lane and Barbara McCorkle, third; and Becky Mullins and Patricia Lechtenberg, fourth.

The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game of March 1 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver. Winners were James Masilamani and Steven Vossler, first in A; David Piro and Grant Sutton, second in A; Craig Huneke and Lois Clark, third in A, first in B, and first in C; Julia Dalton and Mary Fenlon, fourth in A; Chris Lane and Virginia Seaver, fifth in A; and John Reese and Shirley Reese, second in B.
