Topeka ? A two-day conference on detecting and preventing fraud opened Wednesday in Topeka.

The conference is sponsored by the Kansas attorney general, the state revenue department and the Racing and Gaming Commission. It’s aimed primarily at law enforcement officials.

Topics include money laundering, illegal gambling, identity theft and investigations of Internet crime.
