Gov.: Calista Flockhart, Harrison Ford tie knot

Albuquerque, N.M. — Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have tied the knot — in a wedding presided over by New Mexico’s governor.

Gov. Bill Richardson confirmed to The Associated Press on Wednesday that the couple, who have been together for several years and got engaged last year, were married at the governor’s mansion in Santa Fe.

Ford’s publicist, Ina Treciokas, confirmed the nuptials Wednesday.

Richardson presided over the ceremony Tuesday afternoon at the mansion on a hilltop along the northern edge of Santa Fe.

Richardson has played host at the mansion to Spanish royalty, North Korean diplomats and other Hollywood stars, but this marked the first wedding there during his tenure.

Richardson isn’t ordained so he had some help from New Mexico Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles Daniels to make Ford and Flockhart’s union official.

The governor and his staff were tightlipped about details of the ceremony, saying it was “a private matter.”

Attorney: No funeral for actor Gary Coleman

Salt Lake City — The independent attorney appointed to oversee the property and cremation of late actor Gary Coleman said Wednesday there will be no funeral services for the former child TV star.

A Utah judge on Monday named Robert Jeffs the special administrator of Coleman’s estate after a dispute between the “Diff’rent Strokes” star’s ex-wife and ex-girlfriend.

Jeffs told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Coleman’s 2005 will specifies that there should be no funeral services.

Coleman died May 28 after suffering a brain hemorrhage at his home in Santaquin, 55 miles south of Salt Lake City.

The judge ordered that Coleman’s remains be cremated no sooner than Wednesday afternoon.

Jeffs said even if the order were entered Wednesday, it was unlikely Coleman would be cremated the same day.

Stewart picks ending to 4th ‘Twilight’ movie

Los Angeles — The stars of “Twilight” are already looking forward to the final two installments in the vampire franchise.

Author Stephenie Meyer’s fourth and final “Twilight” book, “Breaking Dawn,” is splitting into two parts, and while scripts are still being written, star Kristen Stewart says she knows exactly where the fourth movie should end (spoiler ahead): With Bella having just given birth and Edward being forced to change her into a vampire to save her life.

“I feel like it’s so obvious where you break it up. It’s as soon as she turns,” Stewart told AP Television at a weekend publicity event for the third “Twilight” film, “Eclipse,” opening June 30. “Gosh, you open your eyes to this different world, right? That would be amazing.”

Co-star Taylor Lautner said he approved of Stewart’s idea, and praised the decision by film distributor Summit Entertainment to break up the last book.

‘Jersey’ cast member won’t face Fla. charges

Miami Beach, Fla. — Prosecutors won’t file charges against a cast member of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” who had been accused of punching another woman at a South Beach nightclub.

Prosecutors in Miami-Dade County said Wednesday they won’t charge Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola after another woman claimed she was punched in the face May 8.

Prosecutors say a case of battery may have occurred but it’s not their policy to file misdemeanor charges against those no longer in the county. Giancola has since returned to New York.
