Lansing ? Officials placed a Kansas prison on partial lockdown following a food fight in the dining hall.

Lansing Correctional Facility spokesman Brett Peterson told KMBC-TV the food fight broke out around noon Monday.

Peterson says that several inmates were involved, but none required hospitalization for their injuries and no staff members were hurt. He said the staff quickly brought the food fight under control.

Officials were investigating what sparked the fight.
