Power restored to most in Douglas County
More than 600 people are without power in Douglas County after an underground line failed, according to a Westar spokeswoman.
The outage occurred right before 7 p.m. and affected many areas, including the South Lawrence Trafficway and areas near Harvard and 18th streets. The outage lasted until about 2 a.m.
