One car was involved in a rollover accident east of Lawrence on highway K-10 late Tuesday night.

According to Douglas County dispatchers, the car was traveling eastbound between E. 1750 Rd. and Country Rd. 1057 when it rolled over and landed in a ditch filled with water about 11:30 p.m. Occupants were able to escape the vehicle.

Officers were investigating the accident early Wednesday morning and closed down a lane of traffic.
