KU unveils Spanish-language version of Web site

Kansas University has announced it is reaching out to Kansas’ Latino and Hispanic population with a new Spanish-language version of its Web site.

The site, www.ku.edu/español, offers information about KU’s academic and student services, a Spanish-language promotional video and a welcome message from KU’s interim Provost Danny Anderson, whose academic field is Spanish.

Other information is available, too, including information about admissions, housing and other answers to frequently asked questions.

The site was suggested by KU’s Latino Vision Council, a group formed to better connect with and serve KU’s growing Latino population.
