The Conklin Co. names Keith Steiner, of Lawrence, as a 2009-2010 master contractor. Steiner has earned the title for seven years. This distinction ensures contractors have quality installations, continuing education, industry involvement and general business professionalism.

Conklin contractors also are required to attend advanced training sessions to maintain their qualifications. Steiner is one of 75 master contractors who earned the title and a trip this past December to Scottsdale, Ariz.

Conklin Co. has manufactured fluid-applied and single-ply roof systems since 1977. The company headquarters, R&D, manufacturing and distribution facilities are in Shakopee, Minn., with executive offices in Kansas City, Mo.
