Ballard Community Services, 708 Elm, is offering community members an opportunity this Valentine’s Day to help the agency that provides social services to more than 25,000 people in Lawrence every year.

People can participate in the 2010 Valentine Gala, a “non-event” that simply asks for donations to the agency in honor of the holiday. Donations may be made online or by mail at P.O. Box 7, 708 Elm St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
