Two men die in crash near small Kansas town of Gridley

? Two people have died in a crash near the small Kansas town of Gridley.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened Tuesday when a 17-year-old driver failed to stop his pickup truck before entering the intersection of Kansas 58 and Greenwood County’s HH Road.

The teen’s truck struck the driver’s side of another pickup truck, fatally injuring 58-year-old Alan Eccles and 35-year-old Terry Emmons Jr. Both men were from Gridley.

The 17-year-old driver and his 19-year-old passenger also were injured.
