A 16-year-old Ozawkie boy was taken to Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka after being injured in a vehicle accident Wednesday morning.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, the boy was westbound on 125th street when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The accident occurred about 8 a.m. about five miles north of Meriden. Information regarding the patient’s condition was not available Wednesday evening.
