Glen Goodwin Hole in One: Glen Goodwin carded a hole-in-one on the No. 8 hole at Alvamar Country Club. He used an 8-iron for the ace on the 138-yard hole. It was witnessed by Linda Goodwin, Dan and Carolyn Harden.

Cheer/Dance Clinic: The Free State Kiddie Clinic for Cheerleading and Dance will be 1-3 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Free State High gym.
