LHS tradition

To the editor:

A school with a very, very rich tradition in football is playing second fiddle. Where is the respect?

Lawrence High football should have stayed at Haskell Stadium and kept the tradition going. It was real high school football and a great atmosphere. Everyone loved it.

The school district should be ashamed of themselves. Since they did decide to leave Haskell Stadium, why is it taking so long to have your normal accommodations, such as bathrooms, a press box and concessions, for a historical football program with a rich tradition.

Shame, shame. Let’s get it together!
