A 34-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Sunday morning after making threats during a domestic dispute.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Damon Thomas, the incident began about 2:50 a.m. in the 1100 block of New Jersey Street. The man was reportedly threatening another individual while carrying a knife in his mouth. Thomas said the man was making a scene but had not made any direct threats with the weapon.

The man was booked into the Douglas County Jail about 3:09 a.m. on two counts of aggravated assault.

No one was injured during the incident.
