Mom charged with school bomb threats

? A 27-year-old Wichita woman is charged with making nine bomb threats to an elementary school where she served as a parent volunteer.

Shanna Loman was charged in Sedgwick County court Thursday with three counts of aggravated criminal threat and six counts of criminal threat.

She was ordered held on $100,000 bond and did not have an attorney.

The threats to Payne Elementary School began in November and continued through this month. No bomb was ever found.

Police believe Loman was angry with some of the staff.

Loman was arrested Tuesday morning following the latest threat.

Wichita police spokesman Gordon Bassham says officers were watching four pay phones where previous threats had originated.
