Highway Patrol saturation patrol nets 10 offenders

The Kansas Highway Patrol conducted a saturation patrol around Douglas County late Saturday night and into Sunday morning and arrested 10 individuals for various violations.

According to Douglas County jail records, the highway patrol arrested three people on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, three people for driving while intoxicated and having no proof of insurance, one person for DWI and having no vehicle registration, one person for DWI and obstructing a legal proceeding, one person for DWI and purchasing liquor for a minor and one person for possession of a depressant and drug paraphernalia.

The vehicle stops were reported mostly within Lawrence itself.
