Ageism in the health care debate will be the topic of a spring community forum sponsored by the Douglas County Coalition on Aging next week.

David Kingsley, a researcher in Kansas University Medical Center’s Health Policy and Management Department, will address the myths of older adults being the primary burden in health care and how this is reflected in policies and decisions.

The forum will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Lawrence Public Library’s auditorium, 707 Vt.
