Manhattan ? A Free State High boys golf team split squad won the Manhattan Invitational on Monday at the Manhattan Country Club.

Connor Klutman finished third, shooting a 78, and Evan Schmidt finished sixth, recording an 80.

The Lawrence High split squad finished 15th, led by Devon Weber’s 91.

The other LHS and Free State golfers competed at the Shawnee Mission Northwest Invitational at Lake Quivira.

Free State, led by Wilson Hack’s 76, finished seventh. LHS finished 15th, led by Scott Friesen’s 82.
