Topeka ? The Kansas Attorney General’s Office says an investigation found no evidence of abuse or neglect at a Topeka juvenile correctional facility.

The investigation of the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex began after an anonymous letter was sent to several government agencies.

The writer alleged boys in a segregation unit at the center were kept in inhumane and immoral conditions.

In a report released Tuesday, investigators said they could not substantiate abuse or neglect allegations. But they referred the complaint back to the Juvenile Justice Authority for review of how the center used administrative segregation.

Authority commissioner Russ Jennings says the center was already reviewing its policies after a new manager took over at the facility during the summer.
