Kansas softball swept by Missouri

? On the positive side for the Kansas University softball team, Amanda Jobe and Mariah Montgomery hit home runs on Wednesday.

That was about all the offense the Jayhawks could muster, though.

KU fell to No. 7/8 Missouri, 10-2, in the nightcap of a doubleheader on the road in Columbia, Mo. The Jayhawks dropped a 5-4 contest against the Tigers in the first game.

Kansas fell to 16-21 and has yet to win a game in the Big 12 (0-6).

Missouri improved to 27-6 (3-3 Big 12).

Jobe’s home run was her third of the season and 20th of her career. She ranks sixth in school history in career home runs.

Missouri blew open the nightcap in the bottom of the fourth inning with six runs.

Kansas will travel to Baylor for a two-game series beginning on Saturday.
