A 43-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Saturday evening after being accused of inappropriately touching a 15-year-old girl.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. David Hubbel, Police were called to the 1900 block of 31st street around 8 p.m.

Hubbel said the man was intoxicated and police transported him to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was expected to be booked into the Douglas County Jail late Saturday or early Sunday.
