U-11 Champs: Kaw Valley Force-Holland U-11 girls won in last weekend’s KVSA tournament. Team members are Skylar Drum, Olivia Lemus, Sabrea Platz, April Hodges, Carson Drake, Rachel Schuck, Natalie Clarke, Abi Hummel, Avery Munns, Sydney Vogelsang, Tori Reynolds, Emma Perez and Mikayla Downs. Gymnastics state championship: The Lawrence Gymnastics and Athletics Level 5 boys gymanstics team, coached by Josh Petty, won the state championship Saturday in Wichita with strong efforts from Drew Smith, George Depenbush, Keaton Stramberg and Daniel Nangriacino. Level 6 gymanst Pip Cooper qualified to go to the regionals in New Orleans April 9-11.
