Immediate needs

• Lawrence’s historic Castle Tea Room, at 13th and Massachusetts streets, is looking for a volunteer to assist with small restoration projects to further enhance the historical preservation of the space. Contact Andre at 843-1151 or at castleks@gmail.com

• Trinity In-Home Care is currently expanding its services to include on-site assistance to teens and adults with special needs, and children. To help with this expansion, additional volunteers are needed to support new teen and adult clients, as well as to oversee children in a child care setting. • Body Boutique is planning a 5k run on Oct. 10 to benefit Women’s Transitional Care Services Inc. Runners can register for the race online at www.active.com. Course volunteers are needed to direct runners. The race begins at 8 a.m., and volunteers are needed from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. There will be a volunteer training on course etiquette from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday.
