FSHS soccer rolls
The Free State boys soccer team defeated Topeka High, 4-1, on Saturday at FSHS.
Daniel Chance, Diego Gonzalez, Hunter Pierce and Will Libeer scored goals for the Firebirds (6-1). Sam Passig and Tyler Smith notched assists.
The Firebirds led, 2-0, at the half.
Free State coach Jason Pendleton said the Firebirds dominated the match and played with more intensity and focus than in their last game.
Free State (6-1) next plays Shawnee Mission Northwest at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at FSHS.
